Forbes 30 under 30: Jahnavi Rao, President and Founder of New Voters
At age 24, Jahnavi was named to the 2025 Social Impact List (coincidentally, her brother was also named to the Forbes 30 under 30 Health List!)
We have exciting news to share! Forbes has recognized our President and Founder, Jahnavi Rao, by naming her to the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 Social Impact list. We are both humbled and grateful for this recognition, knowing it was made possible by the passion, dedication, and collective spirit of our entire team—and every one of you who has supported us along the way.
The Forbes 30 under 30 List recognizes leaders, aged 30 or younger, who have made a significant impact in a variety of fields. The Social Impact List celebrates young individuals who are making significant contributions to social causes through their work tackling social issues, highlighting their potential to create positive change in the world.

Coincidentally, Jahnavi’s brother, Kanishka Rao—a longtime and constant advisor to New Voters—was also honored on the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 Health List for founding his startup Carenostics! The Forbes list is a testament to young people creating change across all sectors of society — something New Voters is proud to support and witness every day through all of our students. We are beyond proud of the Rao siblings and all who were named, and know this list is a fraction of the unending talent and contributions of young people across the nation and globe.
