New Collaborations with the PA YMCA, College Counselors and Daybreaker to Boost PA Voter Registration!
New Voters is engaging thousands of PA high school seniors in the next month through new, high-potential collaborations-but we need your help to make it happen
Hi everyone - I’m Margaux, the Program Manager at New Voters! I’m excited to share that I’ve just completed my first month here, and am thoroughly enjoying working with our mentorship team to execute drives in high schools across the country. I’m thrilled to announce three new collaborations that will extend our voter registration to hundreds of high schools and thousands of high school students with the PA YMCA, the PA Association for College Admission Counseling, and Daybreaker!
However, to fully capitalize on these collaborations and ensure we register thousands of PA high school students in the next month, we need your support. Any contribution will make a significant impact as we work to ensure students are vote-ready through these new, high-impact collaborations. State YMCA of Pennsylvania
New Voters and the State YMCA of Pennsylvania's Youth and Government program are excited to announce that running a voter registration drive with New Voters now counts towards a requirement for completing the Youth and Government program. This collaboration with the PA YMCA will empower up to 50 high school student leaders across PA to organize voter registration drives at their schools with New Voters, reaching a potential 5,000 additional students!
Specifically, PA youth participating in Youth and Government will be able to use these voter registration drives as a community service event towards Premier Delegation reporting (a requirement for the YAG program). New Voters is excited to work with the fantastic leaders of YAG and grateful for the collaboration of theYMCA!
Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling
Each fall, the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC) hosts college fairs across the state. Each of these events attract thousands of high school juniors and seniors to learn about PA's institutions of higher learning. We are excited to be PACAC’s partner on voter registration at these events.
Our PA team, led by our PA Recruitment Coordinator, Ashleigh McKenna, will attend 7 PACAC college fairs (Berks County, Philadelphia County, Northeast Regional area, York County, Northampton County, Bucks County and Montgomery County). New Voters is looking forward to engaging with thousands of Pennsylvania high school juniors and seniors at these fairs where we will register them to vote, support them in making voting plans and recruit them to run voter registration drives.
PURPLE Tour: Party to the Polls
We are thrilled to be partnering with Daybreaker on the PURPLE Tour and partying to the polls in a 30+ stop tour through 15 states! We will dance our way to the polls for early voting with free food, dope music, and “poll” dancers to the polls - civic engagement has never been more fun (#rave) 🥳💜🎉 High school students are not only welcome but encouraged to attend!

Thu 10/17: Chester, PA: 8am-10am
Fri 10/18: Phoenix, AZ: 8am-10am
Thu 10/24: Tempe, AZ: 12-2pm
Sat 10/26: King of Prussia, PA: 11am-1pm
Thu 10/29: Philadelphia, PA: 8-10am
