Our 2024 Impact Report
2024 was a huge year for New Voters, and we're beyond excited to share our first-ever annual impact report with you.
New Voters is eight years old. We started as a 30-person high school club in 2017, when my classmates and I dreamed of empowering our peers to vote and be heard—before we were old enough ourselves. In just 3 days, we registered 85% of the senior class, and I knew we had something special. But never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined what we would accomplish.
I am so proud to share New Voters’ first-ever impact report, detailing our work in 2024. This report demonstrates not only the tireless efforts of our team this year, but serves as a testament to the last seven years at New Voters, and the 330 team members who have built this organization into what it is today.

In this report, we measured our success in ways we never have before. Our research team collated years of spreadsheets to discover that we have conducted 994 voter registration drives since 2021, with 316 of those drives taking place in 2024. Additionally, in 2024, we grew to 108 team members and trained 667 high school students to run drives and become lifelong civic participants.
We formed invaluable partnerships—18by Vote merged into New Voters, and we became the official voter registration partner for the Arizona Department of Education. The New Voters Research Network published four youth-led research projects on high school voting, including in a peer-reviewed journal, and hosted our first research conference and expanded our free high school summer research program. The New Voters Collaborative grew to 59 organizations dedicated to high school voting, co-authored two op-eds in Teen Vogue, and hosted the first in-person national summit on high school voting.
Our team’s efforts in these areas led to over 75 news features, from a deep-dive NBC News article into the organization, to a mini documentary on HBO Max. I continue to be humbled by the support, which allowed me to be named a L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth and listed on the Forbes 30 under 30 Social Impact List. I know this is just the beginning, and I truly cannot thank you enough.
This report highlights the progress we've made, but it also shows the work that lies ahead as we remain committed to empowering the 4 million students who graduate from high school each year to become lifelong civic participants. Thank you to each and every one of you for making this possible, whether you donated $5, have been on our team for five years, or talked to an overly-eager 17-year-old Jahnavi who wanted to learn about how to register to vote—together, we are making history, one vote at a time.

WOOHOOOO
Congrats! 90% of young people get their voter information online/mobile - there should be an app for that - so we built one. New Voters, let's talk.
